Recently, the ceremony for the starting and completion of major projects at the end of 2016 and the launching of the newly-opened terminal of Bailian Airport was held in Liuzhou Bailian Airport. 39 major projects with a total investment of 15.08 billion yuan will lead Liuzhou’s economy to a new stage with their great vigor.

The mentioned major projects cover aspects of infrastructure, industrial development and protection of people's livelihood. Specifically, the newly started projects cover Public Service Center and the West Part of South Outer Ring, while the completed ones include a series of projects like Phase-1 of Xi’e Railway Freight Station, the station building reconstruction and expansion of Liuzhou Railway Station (west station building).

“The starting and completion of these major projects have far-reaching influence on upgrading Liuzhou’s quality, adding the potentials for future economic development and promoting citizen’s happiness index”, said the mayor of Liuzhou Municipal People’s Government in his keynote speech. The new terminal of Liuzhou Bailian Airport will further consolidate the dominant position of Liuzhou’s external traffic, improve the development environment continuously and provide a sound platform to expedite the opening of Liuzhou.
