Recently, the centralized opening and completion ceremony of Guangxi’s “double 10 billion and double new” industrial projects (referring to projects with an investment or output value exceeding 10 billion yuan or projects with new industries and new technologies) for the second quarter in 2020 as well as the on-the-spot meeting of Liuzhou were held in the SAIC-GM-Wuling Baojun Base. Three “double 10 billion and double new” industrial projects were completed and put into operation, and two ones were launched in Liuzhou.

It was understood that the three completed projects were the E300 vehicle project of SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd., the technology transformation project of new energy vehicle motors as well as motor controllers of Liuzhou Wuling Liuji Power Co., Ltd. and the Guantang Bonded Logistics Center (type B) project. The total investment was 960 million yuan. The production scale with the production value of 1.6 billion yuan will be formed after completion. The projects to be launched were the Liuzhou Sifang Intelligent Home Appliance Scientific Park sub-project and the intelligent pollution free washing machine and IoT home project. The total investment for the two projects was 0.5 billion yuan. At present, there are 34 projects of Liuzhou listed into the “double 10 billion and double new” industrial projects of Guangxi with a total investment of 73.6 billion yuan, and the accumulated investment was 15.4 billion yuan. The opening and completion of these “double 10 billion and double new” industrial projects will provide important support for Liuzhou to develop industry, and “build itself into a modern manufacturing city and a strong industrial city with the value of 1 trillion yuan”.
