Local people at Lucizhou Island have started to get busy with dragon boat making right after the Moon Festival is gone. As a major traditional sport for its people, Lucizhou has a strong dragon boat team made up of local farmers.
Local people are also good at making dragon boats. 78-year-old boat craftsman Mr Yin Beiyang said it takes 10 working days to make a dragon boat with an investment of 10,000 Yuan.
