Recently, organized by the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the review meeting on the application and identification of Yanghe Industrial Development Zone as the autonomous-region-level economic and technological development zone was held in Liuzhou. The meeting recognized that the development zone meets the establishment requirements of an autonomous-region-level economic and technological development zone, and agreed to recommend it to the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to be set up as an autonomous-region-level economic and technological development zone.

It is known that Yanghe Industrial Development Zone is located in the east of Liuzhou. Integrating the auto parts industry, construction machinery industry and aluminum deep processing industry, it is an important member to boost the high-quality development of Liuzhou’s industry. The development zone boasts of prominent regional advantages, distinctive industrial characteristics and strong regional driving ability. It has actively applied for the identification of autonomous-region-level economic and technological development zone, and provided more opportunities to connect with Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the 14th Five-Year Plan, further promote the development strategy of "Integrating with the Eastern Area", and accelerate the high-quality industrial development.
