Recently, Guangxi Construction Industry Federation issued “Notice on the Announcement of the List of the Second Batch of Projects Receiving the Construction Engineering High-Quality Structure Award of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 2023”. 21 projects in Liuzhou, including the project of Rong'an County’s power generation through household waste incineration, have won this award.

It is learned that the project of Rong'an County’s power generation through household waste incineration, undertaken by Guangxi Construction Engineering Group Metallurgical Construction Co., Ltd., has a designed daily processing capacity of 500 tons of household waste. After the project is put into operation, it is expected to process approximately 182500 tons of waste annually and use waste heat to generate electricity. The annual power generation of it is expected to be 68.5478 million kilowatt hours, of which 56.4148 million kilowatt hours can be connected to the grid. According to the construction party, the project was put into use on December 30th last year, achieving grid connected power generation, assisting in the harmless, reduced, and resourceful treatment of household waste in the three northern counties, and meeting the requirements of circular economy and energy conservation and emission reduction.
