Recent reports indicate that Liuzhou is intensifying its support for the development of distinctive industries, employing industrial concepts and supply chain thinking to foster high-quality agricultural development. This includes accelerating the deep processing of agricultural products and continuously improving industrialization, branding, and the capability to achieve large-scale production.

In recent years, Liuzhou has been creating “growth poles” in rural industries, actively promoting the deep processing of agricultural products. Notably, its advantageous specialty industry cluster of rice flour has been recognized as the only national-level advantageous specialty industry cluster in Guangxi in 2023, receiving a subsidy of 0.12 billion yuan. Places like Jueshan Village in Sandu Town of Liujiang District, Liucheng Huaqiao Farm in Dongquan Town of Liucheng County, and Shilu Village in Luzhai Town of Luzhai County have been acknowledged as national billion-yuan rural specialty industry villages. Additionally, Luzhai County has built a 1000-mu agricultural product deep processing park and two 2100-mu Cunninghamia konishii deep processing parks, vigorously developing deep processing industry chains for processing and cold chain logistics of Zhaisha Kohlrabi. Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County has developed deep-processed products such as tea and Liuzhou river snail rice noodles, enhancing the competitiveness and added value of Sanjiang tea.
