Liuzhou's cultural tourism market features flourishing supply and demand during holiday of Sanyuesan Festival of Guangxi

Recently, it was learned from the Liuzhou Municipal Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau that during the holiday of Sanyuesan Festival of Guangxi in 2024, the city welcomed a total of 3.11 million visitors, with a year-on-year increase of 11.3% on a comparable basis; tourism revenue reached 2.528 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 11.4% on a comparable basis. Both residents and tourists showed high enthusiasm for travel, and the cultural tourism market was vibrant, with strong demand and supply.

Among the events, Fulu Miao Township of Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County held the 140th Sanyuesan Ethnic Traditional Flower Firecracker Festival, celebrating the Sanyuesan Festival of Guangxi with a flower firecracker parade, intangible cultural heritage performances, and flower firecracker grabbing, attracting tens of thousands of domestic and foreign tourists. Popular scenic spots were bustling, with water buses welcoming about 13,000 visitors, and night cruises about 15,000. During the holiday, the number of visitors received by Longtan Park hit a new high, reaching 153,000. The Wuxing Commercial Pedestrian Street, Ma'an Mountain, and Yaobu Ancient Town were among the hot destinations bursting with popularity.
