Recently, road surface construction and asphalt paving have been done at the section from Dazhang Village at Dongquan Town of Liucheng County to Liucheng Huaqiao Farm, with crash barriers along both sides of the road under construction. Luorong-Dongquan First-class Highway is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in July this year.

The highway is a major project in Guangxi, covering an area of 117.55 hectares. It has a length of 21.62 km and a designed speed of 80 km per hour, with a road width of 24.5 m. The highway has four lanes. Its bridges and culverts have the same width as the road. The highway starts from some place near Xiadong Village in Luorong Town of Liuzhou, connecting the China-Europe Hengjiu Road planned to be built in Liudong New District. Then, it runs in parallel with the Tunqiu Railway via the eastern side of Dongquan Town of Liucheng County, and connects X077 county highway, and finally stops at Liucheng Huaqiao Farm.
