Recently, at the construction site of the expansion and transformation project of Liuzhou Railway Hub -- Xudong Double-Track Super Bridge, the successful installation of the first precast T-beam, which is 32 meters long and weighs 139 tons, on the pier cap beam by the bridge erection machine has marked the entry of the expansion and transformation project of Liuzhou Railway Hub from the lower structure construction phase to the upper structure construction phase. It is expected that all bridge construction will be completed by October of this year.

It is reported that the successful installation of this T-beam marks a solid step towards the laying target node of the expansion and transformation project of Liuzhou Railway Hub in Hunan-Guangxi Railway, and lays the foundation for meeting the opening conditions by the end of the year. After the project is completed, the existing double tracks between Qingmao Station and Liuzhou West Station will be transformed into four tracks, achieving separation of passenger and cargo, ensuring the safety of high-speed train operation, and significantly improving the transportation capacity of the railway line, thus maximizing the comprehensive transportation benefits of the corridor and region. According to Peng Gang, the chief engineer of the Liuzhou Railway Hub Project Department of China Railway 25th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., the overall progress of the Xudong Double-Track Super Bridge in Liuzhou Railway Hub has reached 75%, and the main construction is expected to be completed in August.
