Recently, it was learned that Liudong New District, as the carrier of Guangxi Liuzhou Automotive Town, gathered four major complete vehicle plants of four automotive companies, namely SAIC-GM-Wuling, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, Guangxi Automobile Group, and FAW Jiefang, and there were also over a hundred component companies, which has gradually advanced the improvement of Liuzhou’s automotive industry supply chain.

In recent years, Liudong New District has seized on the opportunity to build an international new energy vehicle industry highland, and actively advanced the implementation of the "125 Project", so as to provide comprehensive support for the projects in the forefront. From January to May this year, Liudong New District had 80 industrial investment projects in progress, with a total industrial investment of 4.97 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 110.5%, and ranking first in the city in terms of the total investment. Currently, several core projects of the "125 Project" located in Liudong New District have already been implemented. Among them, Ruipu Saike 20GWh Power Battery Project and Liuzhou Gotion Phase-II New Power Battery Production Base Project with an annual output of 10GWh batteries have been accelerated.
