On November 26, a field trip delegation from the 2025 Mainstream Media for Exploring the High-quality Development of Guangxi's Industrial Parks, visited Guangxi Hurricanechip Technology Co., Ltd., SGMW, and Guangxi AISPEECH Technology Co., Ltd. The visit aimed to gain insights into the latest advancements in Liuzhou's manufacturing sector and to experience the robust capabilities of "intelligent manufacturing".

At Guangxi Hurricanechip Technology Co., Ltd., the field trip delegation visited the first domestic gallium nitride laser mass production line. The company has taken the lead in the industrialization of gallium nitride lasers in China, contributing to the development of the country's optoelectronics industry. At SGMW, the delegation learned about the development trajectory of the Liuzhou automotive industry and the Intelligent Island Manufacture System At Guangxi AISPEECH Technology Co., Ltd., the delegation got an insight of intelligent language interaction technology and experienced the AI smart cockpit.

The delegation highly praised the development of artificial intelligence in Liuzhou. "Previously, my impression of Liuzhou's manufacturing industry was that it was still at a relatively traditional stage. After today's visit, I discovered that Liuzhou's manufacturing industry has already taken the lead in modernization and intelligence. The industrial park's supporting facilities are excellent, and the greenery is impressive," said Liu Feng, an economic analyst at the Guangxi Economic Study Center of China Economic Information Service, affiliated with Xinhua News Agency. He added that upon returning, he will produce promotional reports focusing on the development of artificial intelligence in Liuzhou and how the industrial park addresses key challenges and pain points for enterprises.

Zeng Ping, a reporter from Hong Kong's Ta Kung Pao, remarked, "I'm pleasantly surprised by the progress of 'intelligent manufacturing' in Liuzhou. It's highly advanced, and the industrial park offers a fantastic environment, perfect for experiencing the allure of artificial intelligence and taking photos. Wei Dongyin, the Deputy Director of the Liuzhou Industrial Park Reform and Development Office, explained that Liuzhou has initially established a dual-engine-driven "artificial intelligence +" development model, combining "intelligent manufacturing capability" with "scenario application". In the first three quarters of this year, Liuzhou's artificial intelligence industry saw a 23.3% year-on-year increase in output value, and it is expected to surpass 10 billion yuan for the entire year. Moving forward, Liuzhou will steadfastly pursue the artificial intelligence development strategy of "R&D in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong + Integration in Guangxi + Application in ASEAN". It will capitalize on the collaborative development zone of the China-ASEAN Industrial Cooperation Zone, accelerate the creation of an artificial intelligence industry ecosystem unique to Liuzhou, and strive to establish Guangxi's artificial intelligence application scenarios and industrial cluster innovation base.
