According to Modern Logistics News, during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period, Liuzhou will focus on accelerating new industrialization, developing new quality productive forces, and building a strong manufacturing city. It will prioritize the development of ten modern pillar industries, including AI terminals and robotics, intelligent connected and new energy vehicles, steel and key metal new materials, high-end equipment manufacturing, and the low-altitude economy, while accelerating the formation of a “10+N” modern industrial system.
During the National People’s Congress (NPC) sessions, Zhang Zhuang, deputy to the NPC and Secretary of the CPC Liuzhou Municipal Committee, stated in an exclusive interview that the city will continue to anchor its strategy on advancing new industrialization and developing new quality productive forces. By building the ten pillar industries and the “10+N” system, Liuzhou aims to transform from a traditional industrial city into a model zone for new industrialization and shift from its traditional “old three industries” toward a modern industrial system.
“Liuzhou has a solid industrial foundation, a complete industrial system, and abundant talent reserves, giving it unique advantages for developing artificial intelligence,” Zhang noted. The city will deepen the “AI+” strategy, follow the development path of “R&D in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, Integration in Guangxi, and Application in ASEAN”, and promote the deep integration of technological and industrial innovation. It will actively attract leading enterprises, cultivate key and flagship firms, and advance AI innovation, industrial development, and application, accelerating the building of an AI application and industrial cluster base in Guangxi and ushering Liuzhou into a new stage of intelligent economy and smart society development.
